This book is set in the fictional small town of Stuartville in Utah. The Religion/Cult is never specifically named. The author has taken care to ensure that no religious groups can lay claim to being depicted in this fictional work. – All characters in this book are fictional and have nothing to do with real persons.
There is an estabilshed market for book dealing with the individual’s experience of abuse. This book differs as it does not seek to elicit sympathy for the victims of abuse. It shows the individual’s resilience and growth. Therefore it is not a gender specific book, it delivers both action and sensetivity.
